Subscription payments are processed by Armitage Labs OÜ (Creem) as your merchant of record and legal seller of record. Receipts, invoices, and the tax treatment shown for your subscription purchase are issued by Creem in accordance with its processes and applicable law.
As the provider of the Beliq service, we apply the German small business exemption (Kleinunternehmerregelung) pursuant to Section 19(1) of the German Value Added Tax Act (Umsatzsteuergesetz, UStG). We do not charge German VAT (Umsatzsteuer) on our own account for the supply of the Service in that capacity. Where German law requires a reference on invoices we issue ourselves, the statutory wording is often: "Gemäß § 19 UStG wird keine Umsatzsteuer berechnet."
